  . For the first step, turn on your Canon TR 4520 printer, go to its display panel, and click on the Settings button. 

  . After that, navigate to the Setup option, use the arrow buttons to choose Device Settings, and then press the OK key.

  . Next, go to the LAN Settings with the help of the arrow buttons and then press the OK key.

  . Furthermore, select the Wireless Direct and press OK once again.

  . Now, you are required to tap on OK, Switch WL Direct, and select OK again to proceed.

  . Then, head to the Security Protocol, press OK, and then choose Yes to confirm.

  . When you see the printer’s Wi-Fi password on the printer’s panel, note it down somewhere, like on a piece of paper.

  . Now, go to your mobile phone or desktop and make sure that you have the Canon Print App. (Download the app if you do not have it)

  . Navigate to the Wi-Fi Settings and choose the Network that starts with DIRECT, followed by the Canon printer model name you are using.

  . Type the password you noted before and wait for the connection process to complete.

  . Furthermore, launch the Canon Print App; if you see a pop-up to search for the available printers near your network, tap Yes.

  . Now, it will start searching, then select Cancel once a wireless connection is established. 

  . Here you go; you can start using the printer to complete your printing and scanning tasks.
