How to Connect a Canon TS3522 Printer to Wi-Fi?

Connecting a Canon TS3522 printer to Wi-Fi can be done via the Canon PRINT app on a smartphone. There are easy methods for setting up a Canon printer on a computer device, such as using the WPS push-button method and downloading the printer driver package from canon.com/ijsetup. Below are the most common methods to set up your printer.

Method 1: Canon PRINT app

  • Download the Canon PRINT app via the App Store or Google Play Store on your phone.
  • Open the app and confirm the printer is ON.
  • Select “Add a printer / Printer registration” on your app.
  • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on your printer until the Wi-Fi light starts flashing.
  • Select your printer and Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password.

Method 2: WPS-Push button

  • Hold the Wi-Fi button on your printer until the power light blinks, and follow the printer’s prompt sequence to enter WPS mode. Then, the Wi-Fi light will blink blue when it’s ready.
  • Press the WPS button on your router within two minutes.
  • The printer will start searching for the router automatically. The Wi-Fi light and power light will stop flashing once it's paired.

Method 3: Set up from a Windows or Mac computer

  • If you don’t want to use a smartphone, download the full driver package from canon.com/ijsetup, which includes the IJ Network Device Setup Utility.
  • You can also connect the printer by USB to complete the wireless handoff, or select the wireless setup directly if your computer is on the same network. Finally, the utility will recognize your printer and ask for the SSID name and password.
