  • Then, you need to bring out the cassette cover. 

  • Place the paper guide in the middle towards you.

  • Also, insert the guide on the right side all the way to the right.

  • Then, keep following the instructions until you get a support code 1240 notification on the display.

  • After that, head to the printer display and select the OK option. 

  • On the anonymous usage information to the Canon screen, select the OK button. 

  • Then, review the information page and select Next. 

  • Follow the remaining steps and choose the right option to complete the setup.
