Method 1: Via Manual Connect

  . Firstly, connect the power plug to a socket to switch on the Canon G6020 printer.

  . Head to the control panel, press the Settings button, and then select the Wi-Fi option.

  . After that, select the Manual Connection option and press the OK key.

  . Now, It will start looking for the wireless routers in the area. 

  . Choose the wireless network name you want to connect with and press OK. 

  . Type your wireless network password using the settings and arrow buttons.

  . Then, you need to choose the Register Printer, then tap on Printer Connect to be found.

  . Select the Connection Type, then choose Direct Connection.

  . Click on Yes when it asks if your printer has a Wi-Fi Direct button.

  . Then, go to your printer, press and hold the Wi-Fi Direct button for 3 seconds and release it.

  . On your smartphone, tap on the Next button. 

  . Once you get the PRINT that wants to join the Wi-Fi Network of your prompt, tap Join.

  . If the setup process is complete, tap on the Close button. 

  . Finally, you can start using your printer to get error-free printing results.
