How to Fix Paper Jam in HP Printer?

To make the setup process easier for you, below are the proven and simple instructions. Read all the steps carefully and follow the steps accordingly to get your HP printer out of the paper jam problem in no time. 

  . Go to your HP printer document tray and remove all the papers from there. 

  . Now, in the control panel, press the  Cancel button/key to try to clear the jam automatically.

  . Next, you should carefully pull out the jammed papers from the input tray. 

  . After that, search for torn paper and debris in the input tray and clear if you find any. 

  . Then, reload the paper in the input tray and press the Resume button to see if the jam is cleared. 

  . If the paper jam problem is still not resolved, then turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord and other wires connected to the device. 

  . Set the back unit tray back into your printer, close the printer's output tray extender, and push the output tray into the printer. 

  . Next, turn the printer to its backside and then open the clean-out door. 

  . If you find any jammed paper foreign objects inside the printer, remove them. 

  . Now, shut the clean-out door and turn the printer over to its normal position. 

  . Moreover, reconnect the power cord and another wire to your printer, turn it back on, and see if you are able to print. 

  . If the printer still does not work, examine the output tray and then carefully remove any jammed papers. 

  . Next, open the ink cartridge access door and wait for the ink cartridge to move to the center. 

  . Then, turn off your HP printer and remove the power cord and other USB cables.

  . Try to Look for jammed paper and other foreign objects in the ink cartridge access area; take out any jammed paper or debris found. 

  . In addition, slide the carriage all the way to the right, look for torn pieces of paper, and remove if there are any.

  . Close the ink cartridge access door and lift the cover of the document feeder. 

  . If you find any jammed paper in the area, carefully pull them out. 

  . Now, try to print a new copy to check if the paper jam problem is gone.
