 . Before you start the process, make sure your Canon PIXMA printer is On. 

 . After that, open the ink cartridge access door. 

 . When the printer senses that your printer access door is open, the ink cartridge will automatically move to its position. 

 . In order to remove the ink cartridge, carefully push it down until you hear a clicking sound, and then fill it out. 

 . Now, repeat the same process for other ink cartridges. 

 . After that, take the ink cartridge and, open it; go ahead and take out the protective tape. 

 . Make sure not to touch the print head nozzle or make electrical contact with the cartridge. 

 . Next, you are required to insert the cartridge at a slant and push it gently until you hear the click sound. 

 . Then, check if the ink cartridges are installed properly and are evenly set. 

 . When you are satisfied that your ink cartridge is set properly, close the ink cartridge access.
